Your design..but I strained to read it…

Thanks Nicholas, I don’t mind it taking a little effort for the back cover, but also keep in mind in person it’s rather large so it’s quite easy to read. Phone screens, less so. But I’m creating it for the offline world first and foremost so I don’t mind :)

(I was debating whether to mention this myself: the typeface is unique and memorable and while I can pretty easily read the cover, the words on the back were (much) more difficult. I admit, I am reading on my phone (smaller screen) and I am old enough now to prefer to wear reading glasses when doing close work so there is that caveat…)

I really have found this whole series of your taking us along through all the steps in the birth of your project very informative and helpful. Thanks very much.

Thanks for the kind words :) it’s definitely designed for the offline world, and rather large in person. I’m alright with it being a bit trickier on small screen for the back cover.

Hope you get to see it in person too after seeing the whole process of creation. Would be excited to learn what you think.

For sure the experience is likely very different when holding your book in person. It’s exciting that you will have a bespoke font that captures the feel you have for the project.

Fabulouusssssssss (and don’t worry about “readability” — it reads great and will read even better in person in hand)

I'm curious what the search would do with an adjective for a prompt - how about "industrious" ?

ooh I want to know now too, that's a very original one

What a generous and helpful post this is! In terms of a search word, I'm curious what word would bring up visuals for some of the songs I'm working on, in terms of rich tones, like Handel's"Son Nata a lagrimar". Sweet longing? Would that work?
