Wow what a cool project! Environmental portraiture is also my thing and I wouldn't want to take a portrait any other way... A subject in their own environment is always more at ease and the photograph is far more interesting from edge to edge.
It would be Rechel Carson, because I think it would be very easy to take a photo in her work environment of a person who is dedicated to investigating the sea
