I am not sure if it's a whole post worth of information, but I am happy to just tell you that Niharika, who conducted the interviews, is a friend and very embedded in the same community we documented here and she was a natural to invite to be part of it. She did an amazing job compiling everything, and I was able to then take some of the best quotes and edit them into an essay.
The wrangling was done by creating a form so that all the sitters had to pick a specific time slot to show up, and then with my team we kept it all moving so things worked out with timing. Systems, systems, systems.
There was zero chance Niharika would not have been interested. She's a friend and we work well together. Calendly was the software but there are other alternatives available too for scheduling. The entire team is explained in this very issue, from digi to assistants and everyone else. No stylist, no HMU.
Whoof, put yourself in the place of someone who hasn’t done this (or even better, have a local student ask you about the mechanics & find at least 2 ways to execute on anything… Did you have a stylist? Did you have style recommendations? Did you have HMU for touch ups? A digi? Assistants?
Could you make a post about partnering with a writer? How did you wrangle 101 subjects?

Wesssleeeyyy… yes. That’s a WHOLE post of info.
What were your considerations in choosing Niharika? How would you have found a different writer had she been uninterested/unavailable?
Systems??? Google sheet? Microsoft form? Something else?
