A terrific look into a complicated shoot. This is invaluable information for anyone wondering what it is like in the trenches, getting it done. A wonderful perspective piece.
I'd love to even just be in a room with Christopher Guest. His comedic genius and ability to slip into such wild characters just floors me. His films occupy so much space in my mind. It would almost feel silly to do a portrait session with him because it feels like his best work on camera has already been done.
I'd add Amy Sedaris to the list, too. In her apartment. Her gorgeous, weird apartment.
Robin Williams, hands down. I loved his roles in Flubber and Hook as a kid, then Birdcage, Goodwill Hunting and Dead Poets Society as an adult. I like to think it would be a fun shoot where we’d both collaborate together to make it fun!
I am not a Process subcriber but just to answer the question, Les Paul, the legendary musician, inventor of multi track recording and creater of the Les Paul guitar just to name a few of his many achievements. An all round great character.
If I would have the chance to photograph a famous actor it would be Harrison Ford. Not only was he the star of many of my childhood favourite movies, I also think it would give some great theme opportunities.
I would love to have a photoshoot with Nicolas Cage. He seems quirky enough to not have to direct him, and the right level of serious to take my directions.

A true icon!
Willem Dafoe for very dramatic B&W photos.
the goat of model actors
I suck at portrait photography but I think it would be fun to work with John Malkovich. I love his work with Sandro Miller.
Malkovich would be a DREAM
Jamie Lee Curtis! It would be such a creative and sun session.
She seems incredibly new to work with
Tilda Swinton, obviously
iconic!
