Great issue, enjoyed reading it! At the moment I'm trying to define (or even figure out prior to definition itself) what would be that one photograph that would summarize what I want to achieve and where to go with future photographic work.
Enjoyed this Q&A, thanks again mate. Thought I would give one more goal in the realm of photography for 2024 and that would be to expand my knowledge in some of the more technical aspects of the art, as I have no formal education just point and shoot.
Thank you for this post, Wesley. I really enjoyed reading your answers and insights.
I have two photography-related creative goals for this year: one, to design and print my first photo book/zine (leftover goal from last year which I didn’t accomplish!) and two, to learn to print in the darkroom. I’m really excited about both of them!
A very pleasant read, and as i'm still new to Process i will make sure to dive into the past articles that you sign-post to. My goal for this year is to turn a project into an exhibition and a book.
I am very much in the camp of photography as meditation at the moment (have been for a while, but have started writing about and promoting this kind of thinking recently) so this really hit home with me. Very enjoyable set of Q and As, Wesley!
Thanks for answering all the questions. Very interesting. Looked up the Fuji X100F as I saw you do lots of shots with it and I’m in shock that they still sell it used for over a 1000€. It’s not far from the original price of the X100V direct from the factory. 😳
I think my goal right now is to make something I'm proud of and that has meaning. A lot of my photos feel meaning-less (or meaning-deficient maybe). I don't need them all to have meaning. Just hoping for 1 that I can hold on to.
Great Q&A, really practical advice! In 2024, finishing touches on a couple of projects. But I realize the need to step back and process and do something with more images taken over many years, especially now that the tools are better. Maybe there is a reason for the procrastination, as after consuming dozens of photo books, biographies and courses, I have a different perspective. Wishing all the best in 2024 in reaching their creative goals!

I have told myself that I will teach myself to darkroom print and make proper prints of some of my favourite photos
Loved this read and I know I'm not the only one when I say, we need more of these! Great job brother.

Design a photo book, whether I publish it or not

This is a super good issue, Wesley.
Q&A is always interesting.
BTW, really enjoy "Notice".
