Friends!
I’m excited to welcome you to Process, my newsletter about photography and how to find your own voice.
Process is a playground where I will share my work and process — in depth. From contact sheets, to portfolio building. From ways to stay organized, to behind-the-scenes experiences with clients and on set. From mistakes made, to lessons learned.
We will also get nerdy as I share notes on different film stocks, including expired film (my favorite), and how to work with each. I’ll also occasionally dive back into my archives as well as share progress on upcoming projects*.
This newsletter is an intentional place where we can have a purposeful conversation far away from the craziness that is social media. A place where, I hope, we all get better at noticing and capturing moments together, in our own individual ways.
Once every two weeks I will send a new email, sometimes accompanied by video or audio.
Sign up now and you don’t miss the first issue, which will be in your inbox soon.
In the meantime, please tell your friends!
An image from an upcoming issue where I talk about the power of a good crop, and yes it is OK TO CROP FILM.
*An example of the latter is my upcoming zine Along The Way, Vol. 1 for which I will document and share the entire process.
