My constraints are my over thinking and exhaustion from it.

oh yea thats so real! I think most of us are familiar with this tendency!

Amazing job wow! On my side I would say that for now I can't afford a lens for landscapes so I try to see travel photography only through a portrait lens, it gives me interesting angles to explore!

Analog color photography is so expensive, especially with the lab costs. Now I simply shoot with Kodak Gold (I came for the low price and stayed for the beautiful colors!) from the drugstore and develop the film myself.

Very cool Sascha! And I love that film! Also check out my buddy's shop for some great affordable film: https://analogamsterdam.com/

This is a hard one to answer. I do love seeing the activity around the shots. I'm searching for more constructive constraints. I'm more of a street photographer or a scene catcher. Not pro, just avidly curious. I have a ton of photos that no-one sees but me and I want change that. I get bogged down in the tech. No patience for it I guess.

Wesley Verhoeve's avatar

Ignore the tech! But do find ways to show them :) Online, or your offline community!

I think my hang up is posing everyone. but reading, i realize that i may not be as welcoming as you were. thats something to work on! being more personable allows everyone to relax - that makes everyone more malleable. *Practicing light conversation

haha trust me it took me practice to get there smoothly too!

People are not just people... you clearly capture the individuals. I just didnt know they had that many startups in the Netherlands. 😎

Oh this is not even that many of the entire group!

Very motivating! Shows we don't need MORE, just a little more attentiveness and urgency to look deeper

Wesley Verhoeve's avatar

Thank you Ellen! So glad you’re taking that away from it!

you can do it!

Currently in Mexico with my father and his three siblings, a rare opportunity to spend concentrated time with my family and experience them. I suppose the constraint would be my four subjects! Thanks for your thoughts Wesley.

What a lovely opportunity!!

You're welcome Wesley. I myself I'm a photographer so when I see a colleague I appreciate the good work. Especially dealing with the volume of photographs you shot in two days
