Almost six years ago, I sent the first issue of Process. Today, I’m off to the woods for my birthday, but first, here are six of my favorite issues to revisit.
Heyyy! Happy Birthday! It was my birthday too on the 28th.
Process 192: Taking Back My Attention is the one that hit home for me. Made me realize again that the fight for our attention is real. If we don't fight for it, we'll always give in to being distracted.
I found your posts by searching for photo book design inspiration. Google offered me to your post #148 How to Make Smart Design Choices. I began looking around and liked what I saw, so I subscribed.
Happy birthday Wesley. Your reset weekend sounds like a great way to celebrate. I've never been much for celebrating my own birthday and rarely have any pressure from anyone else to do anything, but perhaps I shall take a play from your playbook and do something similar. The woods for me will be covered in snow (in Montana) so the walk might involve snowshoes or skis, but it will be an adventure. May have to go film as well as batteries don't like the cold here much.
Here is my favorite Process : 175 The Process Manifesto.
I thought to I try new analog films and new vintage cameras this year. The challenge was a film / a camera by month. The end of the year is coming and I'm happy of the results. Some pics are on my LomoHome : https://www.lomography.com/homes/oukrid
What a wonderful way to celebrate your birthday (the creative reset with the walk in the woods part). You share your birthday with my son, who is turning 17 today and is a stark reminder that time is moving all too fast for my liking.
I think I’ll take a walk in the woods myself to help ground me. Cheers!
Your birthday issue is the first I've read, but the idea of a photo diary piqued my interest, so I dove into the archive and read #125. I've decided that your idea has a good deal of merit and I'm going for it. And I'm going to augment the daily image with a daily weekday read of Process, starting with #1 and progressing, seriatim, through #221. I figure I should have completed the archive by this time next year. Happy Birthday, and keep up the good work.
Happy birthday Wesley and kudos to starting year 4 of Project 365. I just finished year 6 on my birthday last week. Not on a disposable camera though, that’s so cool!

Thank you! Love the colors in those lomo photos! Good work!
Process 10 — “How to make a photo book” was influential to me as you I was constructing my own COVID-era zine.
I remember this! Thanks Gabe!

Happy Birthday, Wesley! 🥳
I'm fairly new here, but I'm enjoying reading through the entire Procces archive. Thank you for sharing your experience and inspiring us all.
Thank you for those words Alexandra, I appreciate that!

Oh that’s great Anja! I actually only did the disposable the first year, I switched cameras each year so far, this year has been Pentax Espio Mini :)
Happy Birthday! I wish you a good time goal setting, reviewing and taking forest walks.
Thank you!! :)
